Yoga Alice - Rise Again

If I fall, I rise again.
Night is deep, but not the end.
There is light inside my chest.
It will lead me through the rest.
If the road is hard and long,
still my soul becomes my song.
I move slow, but I remain.
If I fall, I rise again.
I have walked through silent lands,
with dust and prayer in both my hands.
No loud sign, no easy flame,
only mercy without a name.
When nothing opened, still I stayed.
When hope was small, still I prayed.
And in the dark I came to know:
the deepest roots grow slow.
What is planted in tears
can return in gold.
If I fall, I rise again.
